Custom Printing - Instructions

If you are thinking about or have purchased one of our custom cover books, conference packs, business cards or pull up roller banners, please follow the following steps to complete your order.

Step 1

Design your artwork. We can print in full CMYK colour (but please note we don't offer Pantone or any special inks for small quantities).

Please use the right Adobe Illustrator template below, which has guides for artwork and bleed.

Step 2

Once you have set up your AI file with your artwork, please save your file as an Adobe PDF. Go to File > Save As and select PDF from the drop-down menu. When saving, select the 'Marks and Bleeds' tab and tick the 'Trim Marks' checkbox. Make sure it is saved as a high-quality PDF suitable for printing. If you have any problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

This is when you should checkout if you haven't already.

Step 3

Once you have saved your PDF and created your order, you're all set to go! Just send your PDF file to us at hello[at]dotgrid.co. If it is a big file, we recommend sending us a link to download the PDF from the internet (we recommend Dropbox or Google Drive). Please let us know your order number in this email and give us a suitable subject heading. We can then get to work!
